Background of AYOC Agricultural Project.

The pivot of every improved economy is based on agriculture, since it services the need of both industries and human race by means of supplying raw materials and food respectfully.

 

In Africa, agriculture contribute greater portion of governments internal revenue generation even with less improve farming system. With respect to nation Ghana, agriculture is becoming one of most viable economic sector and proven to b more successful and beneficial to the country when it comes to food production for both import and export.

 

As part of AYOC fundamental believed principles, most youth could be gainfully employed through Agriculture. Rural poverty can be reduce to some extent, and developmental programmes to enhance the quality of life of deprived people can be made possible through the poll of resource into agriculture. Improved agriculture, supported by the other sectors of the economy will secure a brighter future for Mother Ghana and for that matter Africa.

Details of Current AYOC Agriculture Programme for Implementation.

 

Name of Project: Africane Maize Farm project

 

Project Concept:

To produce maize on a large scale farm and on commercial base to feed the Ghanaian local market and undertake export due to the high consumption demand for maize.

 

Main Project Objective

The Africane Maize Farm Project has 2 main categories of objective. Thus;

 

1. Short-term objective:

(meaning within the 3year pilot programme implementation).

i. Our short-term objective is to employ 150 deprived Gonja community youth.

ii. Generate AYOC own source of revenue to embark on humanitarian support, and be able to sustain our health programme among others for the benefit of Ghanaian society.  

 

2. Long term objectives:

(meaning within the 10th year of programme implementation nation-wide).

i  Our long-term objective is to employ 1600 people in all the 10 regions in Ghana.

ii.  To establish 10 Youth Vocational & Technical Training institute one for each region in Ghana.

The effort to reduce poverty can not be meaningfully achieved without agriculture, the all are invited to join forces, resources, technical ideas, etc. with AYOC to bring to bear this Agriculture project for it worth to teach people how to fish instead of fishing for them. Thank All.
